Wildlife Hunt

If you drive any rural area in the UK you are well used to seeing "Beware of" signs.  Australia is no different.

We have had cows, kangaroos, horses and birds of all types by the dozen.  We have also seen emus but fortunately they weren't on the side of the road. 

This post is mainly for the grand kids but we have added some fun photos to see if anyone can spot the animal contained within.  Answers are at bottom of post.

Here are photos of other animals we have come across that we didn't include elsewhere.  We will start with birds which is a cheeky way of saying we don't know what species half of them are !!

We have seen lots of different coloured parrots and cockatoos but they are so hard to get a photo of as well as bats.  Not to mention my elusive Cassowary!!!

Answers:

1.   A toad on the arm of our chair - yuk!
2.   A croc hiding on the river bank - it will eat you !
3.   Small fresh water crabs
4.   Lovely fresh water turtles
